Welcome to my daily
update page! What does this mean? This is the place where
I will post things of interest, stuff about science, the purely entertaining,
corsetry, my side projects both past and present, and any other thing that
I feel like sharing. Enjoy!
Modern Chemistry, The
Holt Science Program, 1954. Even textile mills are
filled with eager young men, and in the modern age chemistry is on the
march! Women are at home, out of sight and out of mind where they
belong - and chemicals are pumped into beautiful orange lakes under a majestic
green sky. It's a beautiful world..... Of Modern Chemistry!

I have not been posting
much on the daily updates... more like weekly updates lately... just
because I have been so busy. Here is one finished project, the replicated
LVDC Logic Devices - lost to history and now rediscovered through my non-invasive
reverse engineering - the components that made up the computer that flew
the Saturn V moon rocket.

In this video I describe
the process by which I went about trying to reverse engineer the LVDC logic
board by filling in the blanks left by cold war secrecy, and discovering
how the LVDC logic devices worked by meticulous observation of the X-rays
(from a previous video) and plowing through hundreds of pages of public
documents about the IBM System/360. This led to some surprising discoveries
and a new Do-It-Yourself project to follow in the next video! :-)
